Accounts
How do I setup an account (or add another account)?
Tap the App Menu, then tap Preferences and Accounts. Tap Add Account and enter your information.
How do I switch accounts?
In Tweed, each account is loaded in a separate card in webOS. Tap the App menu, then tap the Open Account item, then tap/select the account you wish to open.
Navigation
How do I go to my Home timeline? Trending Topic? Replies?
In Tweed, you can switch among timelines via the View Menu (pill shaped header on top of screen). Click the blue button and select the desired timeline from the pop-up menu.
How do I follow links in tweets?
You can either tap the link directly in the tweet or you can tap the tweet and tap the link the pop-up menu.
Tweeting
How do I compose a tweet?
Click the button on the lower left corner to load the compose tweet screen.
How do I add my current location to a tweet?
From the compose tweet screen, click "Insert Current Location".
How do I create a reply?
Tap the desired tweet and then tap Reply in the pop-up menu.
How do I favorite a tweet?
Tap the desired tweet and then tap Favorite in the pop-up menu.
How do I retweet?
Tap the desired tweet and then tap Retweet in the pop-up menu.
How do I delete a tweet?
Tap the desired tweet and then tap Delete in the pop-up menu. (This is only available for your tweets.)
Searching
How do I search?
At the top of each timeline, there is a search box. Simply enter your search terms and press Enter.
How do I search tweets for a specific user?
At the top of each user timeline/profile, there is a search box that will restrict the search to tweets form that user. Simply enter your search terms and press Enter. (You can get to the user profile by tapping a user's picture of tapping a link to a user, from a tweet.)
Bookmarks
How do I add a bookmark?
Tap the App Menu, then tap Add Bookmark.
What can I bookmark?
You can bookmark user timelines, searches or trending topics.
Users
How do I follow or unfollow a user? Block?
From the user's profile, you can tap Follow/Unfollow or Block.
How do I view a user’s profile?
Tap the user's picture on a timeline or a link to a user in a tweet. This loads the user's timeline. If you tap the header, their profile will expand to reveal the user's details.
Notifications
How do I configure notifications?
Tap the App Menu, then Preferences & Accounts. You can then toggle notifications on/off. (Notifications are checked every 15 minutes.)
For what will I receive notification?
Tweed checks for new direct messages and replies (mentions) for each account you have setup.
Miscellaneous
Can I use Tweed if I don’t have a Twitter account?
Yes. You can browse Trending Topics and the Public timeline. You can also search Twitter.
How do I change the fonts?
Tap the App Menu, then tap Change Font. Tap the desired font setting.
