At Pivotal, HR has the unique opportunity to help build and form our workforce and operations. This role will act as the HR business partner for employees of the Pivotal Labs team located within the San Francisco, Palo Alto, and Santa Monica offices. They are responsible for a variety of human resources programs and policies, often encompassing several areas of human resources, including organizational development, operations, compensation, benefits, or training. Assignments may include development, implementation, and evaluation of programs or policies, and may focus on service delivery, while providing advice and recommendations. This position’s contributions will fundamentally impact the business processes, results and overall efficiency of both people and operations.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to effectively partner cross-functionally with all personnel in corporate HR and non-HR organizations
Contributes to the development of Pivotal’s mission executed throughout HR programs and processes.
Consults and partners with management on topics such as proper performance management, compensation assessments, and people development
Effectively manages employee relations matters
Manages reports and analytics with proficient knowledge of excel
Develops resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity.
Uses judgment within broadly defined policies and best practices.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
5+ years of related experience
Understanding of business environment
Project management skills
Excel, Word, and Powerpoint Proficiencies
