Edward Hieatt and Alex Chaffee will hold tutorials on 2 topics:

• Writing and Testing JavaScript-heavy Web 2.0 apps with JSUnit
• Full-stack webapp testing with Selenium and Rails

The sessions will address the testing of modern browser-based web applications, many of which have much thicker clients than in the past. The first focuses purely on the client side, describing the use of JsUnit to test JavaScript-heavy applications independent of the server. The second session looks at the application as a whole, detailing techniques for the end-to-end testing of Ruby on Rails applications.
