We're currently looking for a passionate hands-on and capable senior technical support lead to help customers with Pivotal Tracker. Knowledge of SaaS/Cloud/Web based app support on variety of browsers under Mac & Windows is important as is experience with Project management, Zen Desk, Get Satisfaction and QA.
 
 
Responsibilities:

  • Ensure consistent, professional and effective customer support
  • Investigate and respond to customer support tickets, community forum posts and tweets (in writing, as we’re not currently set up for phone support)
  • Answer questions, for example, about Tracker features, road-map, best practices and subscription levels.
  • Solve problems such as those with account activation, account upgrades, email notification, credit card processing issues, and problems integrating with other applications
  • Be a customer advocate and make sure customers are satisfied
  • Become an expert on Tracker and a source of knowledge that our customers and team can rely on
  • Leverage experience gained to suggest product improvements, and quickly escalate possible production issues
  • Highlight frequently reported issues
  • Contribute to and maintain support templates, Help/FAQ and KB articles
  • Communicate customer service status and metrics

Requirements:
  • Must have outstanding communication skills, be a great listener and able to contribute in a team environment
  • Be detail oriented, creative, patient and positive
  • Loves solving problems
  • Has excellent troubleshooting and issue isolation ability
  • Solid bug reporting ability
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
  • Flexible, mature approach, quick to learn and with a can-do attitude
  • 3 or more years technical support experience

Qualifications:
In addition to great communication skills and willingness to learn in a team environment, it would be great if you had familiarity with the following:

* Ruby on Rails and/or other web development frameworks
* Unit and behavior testing frameworks such as RSpec, JUnit, Jasmine, or Cucumber
* Relational and/or NoSQL data stores
* Browser scripting languages like JavaScript, Flash
