Airbrake is a great tool for identifying errors generated by other apps all in one place. I guess if you’re the offending app you might call it a rat, snitch, stool pigeon or fink – but to the rest of us it’s the canary in the coal mine that can save your butt.
As of today you can view Airbrake errors from within Pivotal Tracker and link activity back into Airbrake as a Tracker comment on the error it’s self.

Neat idea, unfortunately it’s pretty busted. The links from pivotal don’t actually work, they just take you to a broken domain: http://airbrake.io (no slash) or to a page that simply redirects you to your project: http://airbrake.io/errors/ .

Links were mangled in the previous post, they were: http://airbrake.io1234 and http://airbrake.io/errors/1234 where 1234 is the bug number. They are missing the subdomain. A link like http://subdomain.airbrake.io/errors/1234 would work.
I’m aware this is likely an airbrake problem, not a pivotal problem but others should know.

Thank you for the feedback. We’ve now fixed this issue; it was a small tweak to the base URL.
We’ve added two new features. 1. Resolving of errors once an error is delivered. and 2. Being able to pull in other environments.

Canary in a coalmine you say? Thats what we were thinking when we developed Coalmine, an error monitoring service similar to Airbrake, but with better searching and notifications. https://getcoalmine.com/

Ronan, that’s pretty funny–I actually cofounded an Airbrake competitor named Coalmine (getcoalmine.com). Our mascot is even a canary! Great minds? :-)
